More fun with water...

Like I said before, you can never get bored of these!!!

I set up a glass in the sink, filled it up with water, then let the icecubes drop. I missed the cup several times hehehe, but the one that counts is this one, the one that actually hit right on! took about 10-20 tries to get a good hit, it was kind of hard holding the ice directly above the glass and trying to press the shutter simultaneously. Other than that... it was kinda fun with neat and cool results.

your blue background works well here. It really magnifys the effect of the water over white. Also gives off a coldness felling assosiated with the ice. makes me think of winter (witch isnt the best thing since theres 60 days left till sping and even in spring it snows :()

Anyways, this is an excellent piece, I love the colors - very refreshing and could very well be an ad. I'm sure your parents must found it odd that you were throwing ice into the sink continually.... ;]

Looks pretty cool!
In some ways I'm glad you took this shot because I had a photo assignment requiring me to experiment with shutter speeds and I'm still pretty clueless about it(Listening to some old lady rambling on about technical stuff like that drives me nuts so that is why I stick to normal traditional tools! :D)
