wow, it's been a while...

I've been meaning to create another vector, just haven't had the time to sit down and just focus on it. Been busy with work and work and other work to do anything on my own time. I started this about a week ago, just toying around with which picture I'd want to use as reference. I decided I wanted to use my own photography, so I chose this picture out of my last Cecilia photoshoot to use. She always liked this shot the best out of the series, so why not, right? after 200+ layers and easily 20+ hours of off and on work thru out the week and weekends and sleepless nights, and finally a day off (today) to finish up on it.

I think it comes close to the original look, with a vectorish touch to make it stand out all that much more. I even tried to simulate a 'bokeh' effect for the background, not originally in the photo I took, I think it's a nice touch, not too distracting, yet it's there to compliment what's in focus... like photography!

Anyways, I should have a print ready version up soon too, since I can just stretch all the shapes for max res printing (gotta love vector for that) ...
